Tui Tawaite

Tug Boat

The Tui Twaite tug; hero of the Wahenni ferry disater in New Zealand. She found herself in Santo pumping fuel oil out of the sunken President Coolidge, following a leak that could have been an ecological disaster for Luganville and the Segond Canal.

She is 40m long and now rests up right in the middle of Segond Canal straight off our jetty. Covered on fish life this is a fantastic dive for the experienced diver looking for something a bit different to the Coolidge.
