USS Tucker

Stainless Steel Destroyer

This WWII wreck is one of the less explored in Santo and sits on a fantastic reef. Another casualty of friendly sea mines, the USS Tucker went down just off the island of Malo.

She has broken into three main pieces - the bow, the mid-section engine blocks, and the stern, spread over a hundred meters of reef. With the possibility to see rays of different species, crocodile fish, hump head wrasse and turtles makes this dive site a must when in Santo.
